ABOUT US
Our Inception
Originally started at MIT and Stanford, Synapse is a national organization found at the top universities across the United States. Our chapter of Synapse was established in 2019 here at the University of Pittsburgh. Here at Pitt synapse, our mission is two-fold: educating the community about the brain (more specifically - traumatic brain injuries) and reducing the stigma associated with traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).
